  • Engages in the collective bargaining process by researching labor relations-related topics, such as case histories, pertinent laws, workplace concerns, grievance-related trends, and historical practices, and by providing recommendations for negotiation strategies. Furthermore, it generates language for collective bargaining agreements, evaluates proposals and their associated costs and benefits, and generates supplementary negotiation materials.
  • Represents management in a variety of dispute resolution processes, including accelerated arbitrations, labor and classification complaints, and appeals.
  • Makes an effort to establish and maintain connections with union leaders and authorities, and actively participates in discussions to address common labor relations concerns.
  • Grievance management encompasses the following: monitoring developments, preparing responses, and participating in meetings.
